Refund and Returns Policy



Our aim at Happy Cake Day is to supply you with an order that will bring you and/or your recipient happiness and joy! Should your item  be delivered in substandard condition, please contact us immediately. All damage claims must be received within 4hrs of delivery. We are contactable direct on 0404 388 219 to hear your concerns.

As we aim to personally hand over each of our orders, whether directly from our Studio or delivered to your designated address,  we trust that there will be  immediate inspection and acceptance of the cake as delivered.
Any visible concerns/issues should be raised immediately with the delivery person.

If you have chosen to give the item Authority to Leave (ATL) your cake will be exempt from any damage claims that occur after the cake is delivered.

We only replace items if they are delivered defective or damaged.

As the nature of our products are perishable goods we  cannot be held liable for any damages that occur once they have been delivered.

Should you find your cake has been damaged please contact us on 0404 388 219  immediately. We will need you to supply:

  • Your order Number
  • Delivery address and Time
  • Images of the damage/concern.

Should the cake have arrived damaged, we will endeavour to repair or replace it ASAP. In some instances immediate replacement may not be possible, and a refund/partial refund  may be offered.



All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

Refunds/ Partial Refunds are at the discretion of Happy Cake Day and are assessed on a case by case basis. 

Late Delivery

If you haven’t received your order before the estimated delivery time please contact us.

Unfortunately situations outside of our control such as but not limited to, Traffic, weather events, short supply, in transit damage, may mean that the receipt of  your cake may be delayed. Where the cake is still received on the delivery date specified no refunds will be offered. Whereby Happy Cake Day is unable to supply the order on the chosen date, a refund or transfer of credit to another date may apply.

Whereby a refund/Partial Refund is granted, this will be returned in the manner it was received- electronically. This process may take up to 72hrs, notwithstanding further delays due to financial institutions.


Change of Mind

All Sales are final.
Should you find that you wish to switch  the cake design to another of our styles, or alter the specifics  you have indicated, please contact ASAP and where possible we will help you to facilitate your requests.

Due to time constraints we may not always be able to fulfil your change of mind request.

Any additional costs are due at the time of change.



If you have not granted ATL and your cake is returned to our studio, a $25 Return to Base fee is charged. Re delivery fees also apply.

To avoid this we suggest granting ATL and ensuring that delivery details are correct.

Happy Cake Day is not responsible for incorrectly supplied addresses.
