Where are you located?

Happy Cake Day(HCD) is located in Brisbane QLD Australia.

Can I collect my cake?
We offer Local Pick up for our Local surrounding Suburbs clients. Pick up is available on orders made a minimum 24hrs in advance and between 9am-10am only

Where do you deliver to?

Our delivery zone covers postcodes within 15km Brisbane CBD. Outside of this area please contact us for a private courier quote.

How much is Delivery?

HCD cakes are currently available for $15 Flat Rate delivery within 3km Brisbane CBD. Other delivery locations incur varied delivery fees.

Can I request a specific Delivery time?
No.
In order to deliver the cakes as perfect as they are created, our delivery route is calculated to ensure each and every cake is delivered in the most efficient manner. We are unable accept specific delivery time requests.
If you are not able to accept the delivery personally- there is the option to give authority to leave.

Can I customise the Cake design?

No. The way we keep the cakes competitively priced is by having set designs/flavours. If you are after Customised designs please contact our parent company Cake That!

What size options do you offer?

With exception of the DIY cakes- we offer  3 Cake sizes:

Sweet Treat– This size will cater for around 4 -6 dessert sized portions. Should you after small pieces with tea and coffee- then you will serve between 10-12.

Sugar Rush– This option will provide you with around 10-12 dessert servings/20-25 token portions.

Group Hug– This size will serve 15-20 dessert portions/30-40 token pieces, enough for the whole class/office to enjoy the moment!

Can I choose my Flavour?
Many of our designs offer the option of two flavours- where others have a set flavour for that specific design.

N.B. Gluten Free Cakes come in a Sweet treat size and are ONLY available in a Chocolate flavour

Do you cater to allergies?

We Offer the option of a Gluten free 4″ Sweet Treat cake.  As our kitchen handles all types of Allergens we therefore cannot state that our products are exclusive of these elements.

Should you be after a dietary specific cake- please contact our parent Company- Cake That! for a customised order.

Can I order in advance?
Yes of course. 

You can Order your cake up to 90 days in advance directly through the web shop. If you wish to order further in advance please email baked@happycakeday.com.au with the date and size you are after and we will send an invoice to you.

I live locally- Do you offer Local Pick Up?

As our day is jam packed with baking, decorating and delivering- the option to collect is only possible between 9am-10am for orders placed a minimum 24hrs prior. If you can’t make this timeslot, our affordable designs and low Local Resident $9.95 delivery fee mean you can sit back and relax and experience the complete Happy Cake Day service without having to go anywhere.

Where is my cake?

Our cakes are delivered on the day during set delivery windows. For all orders placed before 6pm the day prior- delivery will be between 10am and 230pm. For orders placed before 10am on the day- your order will be delivered to your nominated address by 5pm. 

Orders placed after 10am will be held over until the next business day.

Does someone have to be home/available to accept delivery?

We all love surprises- but it is preferred to ensure that someone will be able to accept delivery of the cake.  Whilst there is the option to give an Authority to leave, due to their fragile and perishable nature, we cannot insure the product is received as perfectly as it was delivered with cakes that are left unattended at the addresses.

Any orders given Authority to Leave are left at your own risk. We will not be liable for Damage, Theft or destruction of the item once delivered.

How do I care for the cake?

Your cake will arrived boxed ready for storage, gifting or display. Cakes are best served at room temperature. If you are wanting to keep the cake for a day or two before sharing it- please keep it in its box in the fridge until the day of serving. Cakes will take 2-4hrs to return to room temperature.

How long will my cake last?

Whilst we don’t often hear of any leftovers, you can expect any remaining cake to last for 3-5days following delivery. This will be noted on your delivery slip and will ultimately be dependent upon the purchased cakes finish and flavour.

Can I order multiples of the same design sent to one location?
Absolutely. As each cake is individually boxed, delivery fees will only be charged per address.

Do you deliver to Schools and Hospitals?

Yes indeed! 

What better way to cheer someone up, or to celebrate a birth than to send cake! Please supply the patients name and ward/room number when ordering.

If you want to take the stress out of supplying your Childs’ classroom birthday cake HCD can absolutely deliver directly to the school. Please note your Childs classroom and teacher in the notes section. N.B. deliveries to schools are limited to orders placed by 6pm the day prior during QLD School terms. (it is also helpful to make the admin staff aware)
